Aditya Chopra (born 21 May 1971) is an Indian film producer, screenwriter and director. He is most known for directing his only three films Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995), Mohabbatein (2000), and Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (2008). And producing Hum Tum (2004), Veer-Zaara (2004), Bunty Aur Babli (2005), Fanaa (2006), Dhoom 2 (2006), and Chak De! India (2007).Aditya Chopra, the elder son of filmmaker Yash Chopra and Pamela Chopra, was born on 21 May 1971. As a child, Aditya was shy and preferred to keep to himself and developed a keen interest in watching films and writing stories. He was also known to be an avid dancer among his select group of friends and would often try to outshine others during his childhood days. Aditya completed his schooling from Bombay Scottish School, along with his brother. He states that his best friends, as he grew up, were younger brother Uday Chopra and Karan Johar. Aditya still remains media shy and rarely makes a public appearance. This is primarily because he lisps while talking and had undergone a cleft lip surgery.
